Plasencia Alma del Fuego is a medium to full bodied Nicaraguan puro that highlights tobaccos grown in the volcanic soils of Ometepe and Jalapa. It features a Nicaraguan Jalapa wrapper, binder from Ometepe, and a filler blend made up of more than seventy-five percent Ometepe leaf. The tobaccos are aged for at least seven years to develop their full character. Expect rich flavors of earth, coffee, dried fruit, clove, and roasted nuts with a touch of sweetness on the finish. The Concepción size earned a 93-point rating and was ranked number 13 on Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 of 2019.
